We produce natural wines with love in Southeast Portland
Hi friends, new and old. We’re RAM Cellars, and we produce small lots of premium natural wines in SE Portland. It’s our pleasure and honor to share our work, our passion, and our dreams with you with every bottle. Thanks for dropping by… we hope you’ll stay awhile!
As a proud member of the Portland Urban Winery Association, we produce small lots of premium wines in Portland, Oregon. We work with sustainably managed grapes from vineyard sites in Oregon and Washington to craft our artisanal wines. We're passionate about what we do and strive to craft wines that highlight each varietal and vintage. We produce natural wines - native yeast fermentations, minimal inputs, meticulous care in the cellar, and zero fining or filtration before bottling - and of course we limit our use of sulfites to the lowest level necessary to protect the wines for aging. We like to work with varietals and styles that are slightly off the beaten path - Think: single varietal Cabernet Franc, Orange Gewurztraminer, Rose of Tempranillo, etc. Wines in our lineup include Riesling, Gruner Veltliner, Gewurztraminer, Cab Franc rose, Tempranillo Rose, a unique Oregon rose blend, Malbec, Cab Franc, Tempranillo, and Pinot Noir.
The sale of wines from our recently launched VIV line directly benefits a transgender specific cause - this year, $5 from the sale of every bottle (and ticket sales / funds raised at VIV events) goes directly to the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund. Consider enjoying this great wine knowing the incredibly important - and incredibly personal to us - cause that it supports! It's our pleasure and honor to share our wines with you, and we're thankful and grateful for the support! Coming soon: The next round of VIV red wines, part of a new fundraising partnership with Portland’s Q Center. Come see us on November 23rd to find out more and help us support an organization that provides direct support to queer and trans folx in our local community! We can’t wait to share these new VIV wines with you!

Our 2016 Malbec brings intrigue to your glass right from the start. Earth and spice greet the nose, with just a hint of smoke leading to subtle green peppercorn and white pepper notes in glass. Fig jam abounds en route to a balanced finish. Pairs well with steak, charcuterie, dark chocolate, and family and friends.

Our Le Bélier Orange is 100% skin-contact fermented
Gewürztraminer from Hanson Vineyards. Lavender,
rose petals, and fennel seed greet the nose, while grapefruit zest, rose water, and lemongrass abound in glass. Funky and fresh, with a great body and balanced acidity, this wine pairs well with curries, fried chicken, richer cheeses, pork, beef, and family and friends!
Galileo once said “Wine is sunlight, held together by
water.”, and we couldn’t agree more. Our Lumière
Rose (French for Pink Light) is a delicious blend of
rosés of Pinot Noir and Tempranillo that truly brings
sunlight to every glass. Strawberries, peaches, and a
whip cream-like decadence greet the nose, with the
glass bringing notes of passionfruit and slate stone
minerality en route to a crisp, dry finish. Pairs well
with steamed mussels, venison, and family and friends!
